MISSION VIEJO, Calif. The South Orange County Community College District (SOCCCD) is pleased to announce that the search committee for the next President of Saddleback College has completed its initial round of interviews and identified four outstanding finalists to advance to second level interviews in the selection process. The finalists are:
Following a highly competitive national search, the 12 committee members reached consensus to advance these four candidates.
“This was an exceptionally strong and diverse candidate pool,” said Vice Chancellor of Business Services and Chair of the Selection Committee, Ann-Marie Gabel. “The committee’s recommendation reflects the strength, experience, and leadership potential of each finalist, and we are excited to move forward in the next phase of the process.”
As part of SOCCCD’s commitment to transparency and shared governance, the finalists will participate in a series of public forums and additional interviews with key stakeholder groups.
The forums will be held April 6–9, 2026, and will include a presentation from each candidate followed by a moderated question-and-answer session. Attendees will have the opportunity to submit questions before each forum.
