Procurement provides a customer centric and unified purchasing platform that ensures integrity and fairness with oversight of solicitation, vendor selection, negotiation, award, contract administration & management, and reporting while adhering to the various educational, government, public contract codes, and governing board approved policies.

The District's Procurement Department is solely responsible for purchasing all supplies, equipment and for processing all contracts with suppliers, contractors, and vendors.

Priya Jerome Wins Procurement Award!

The Foundation for California Community Colleges and the Southern California Community Colleges Procurement Association (SCCCPA) honored Priya Jerome, Executive Director of Procurement, with the 2020 Procurement Professional of the Year award during the annual California Community Colleges Purchasing Conference. The award recognizes exemplary service, impactful contributions, and the collaborative spirit towards the elevation of the California Community Colleges procurement profession.  Awardees are nominated by peers, and qualifications are thoughtfully evaluated by an evaluation committee of peers.

Procurement Wins OCBC Award!

The Procurement Department won the Orange County Business Council's Turning Red Tape into Red Carpet award in Incorporating Innovative Technology for its Fully Online Bidding, Contracting & Public Procurement Organization! The District embarked on two interrelated projects to accomplish procurement efficiency by creating a fully integrated online bidding and contracting public procurement organization. The project included the organization-wide implementation of two systems—the Jaggaer Contracts Management System (CMS) and the PlanetBids system.
