  How to Change Your Password

 
 

You will need to change your password the first time, and only the first time, you use MySite to acess your email. This is required to take advantage of the Outlook.com email and other features.

Outlined below are the steps required to successfully change your password. If you have problems with this process, you can contact technical support:

 Important

From this time forward any password you select must meet the following criteria:

  • The passwords must be between 6 and 16 characters
  • The password must contain at least one number
  • The password is case-sensitive.
  • You may not include your user ID in the password.

When you are ready to change your password, please follow these steps.

 

1.

After you login to MySite, on the left, click on the link Change PIN/Password

2.

Click on the desired link:

Change Secret Question/Answer your secret question and answer to be used when you click on the Forgot My PIN link on the MySite login screen.

Change PIN the 4-digit Personal Identification Number used to login to MySite.

Change Password the password used to login to both Blackboard and your college student email account (Outlook.com).

After you click on any of these three links, you will see this screen. After you enter the desired info, click on the appropriate button (Update, Change PIN, and/or Change Password).

If you have not entered a "secret question" and "answer", you will be required to do so before can change your password.



 


Enter the password you used to login to Blackboard & your college email

Enter your new password using the following requirements see below:

Passwords must be between 6 and 16 characters, contain at least one number and is case-sensitive. You may not include your user ID in the password.

 

Once you have changed your password, your are ready to begin using your Outlook.com email account.
